Stacking the Shelves / August 4, 2019

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature all about sharing your good luck in book acquisitions! So here’s what came my way since my last post! I have some great additions again this time!  Received for Review   The Nightjar sounds fantastic, a great contemporary fantasy set in London. I am looking forward to checking it out. Many thanks to Tor Books! OK, I was really excited when this one showed up. I really enjoyed The Last Days of Jack Sparks and am really looking forward to see what Arnopp does with this one. So many thanks to Orbit!   Walk the Wild with Me sounds like it is full of adventure and fae. Thanks so much to DAW Books! OK, I have to admit that when I first saw this I thought it was an anthologie, but it actually is more like history of science fiction focusing on major figures during the Golden Age. Thanks to Dey Street Books Oh, this one sounds like it has a couple of great horror stories in it! Looking forward to checking it out. My thanks to Harper Voyager. The Emperor’s Fist is a book 4, but the publisher mentioned it can be read…
