Stacking the Shelves – March 2, 2019
Stacking the Shelves / March 2, 2019

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature all about sharing your good luck in book acquisitions! So here’s what came my way since my last post! Received for Review It’s been another couple of great weeks for book additions! These were all surprise arrivals and 3 of them are ones I I absolutely loved Torn, it was just a delight to read and I am so looking forward to Fray! Many thanks to Orbit Books! I am not always huge on re-tellings, but this one sounds really intriguing and a good mix of darkness mixed in. My thanks to Berkley for the advanced copy! Creation Machine is new to me, but it does sound like a fun read. Lent is one I have been eyeing as I love the other books I’ve read by Jo Walton. So many thanks to Tor Books for sending these my way! This is one I’ve been looking forward to. Maybe because I enjoyed the sewing magic in Torn (and looking forward to Fray), but regardless, it sounds like great fun! Thanks to Random House Children’s Knopf Books for Young Readers

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature all about sharing your good luck in book acquisitions! So here’s what came my way since my last post! It’s been another couple of great weeks for book additions! Received for Review While I have to confess to falling behind on my reading, I did have a number of books show up that I’m really excited to get to. I also really need to do these posts more often 😀   Many thanks to Tor Books for the following for arrivals. I’m really excited about all of them (I already read and enjoyed Starless, and have begun reading both Mystic Dragon (I really enjoyed the first in this series, so have high hopes) and The Calculating Stars), and am really looking forward to Drop by Drop.       This one sounds really intriguing. My thanks to DAW books for the copy! This was a surprise arrival that was not on my radar at all previously, but it sounds really exciting and I’ve been craving a good thriller lately. Many thanks to Twelve! Super excited to get a chance to start this as I have enjoyed the rest of the Wayfarer series. Many thanks…

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature all about sharing your good luck in book acquisitions! So here’s what came my way since my last post! Wow, I went way too long without doing a Stacking the Shelves!! These are all the wonderful additions since last time! Received for Review                                   Both of these books from Harper Voyager look amazing! I’ve wanted to try Feist, and this new series looks like a great chance. And I have started The Poppy War and am so in love with this book so far! So many thanks to Harper Voyager!                               Pyr, as always, was great to me again. I am admittedly a bit horrible about making time to read short fiction but am hoping I get a chance to read some of the stories from the Nebula Awards showcase. And Blood Orbit sounds great! My thanks to Pyr!     I received a couple of interesting looking thrillers from Quercus. One looks to be a fourth in series, so not sure if I…
